The new Kia EV3 is a small electric SUV which we saw the concept of in 2023. The bold-designed car is set to be available at the end of 2024 and is highly anticipated to compete with the Volvo EX30 and the ID 3.
Kia EV3 will be available with battery sizes- 58.3kWh and 81.4kWh, with the bigger battery offering a 372-mile range per charge, which is more than the EX30 and the ID 3 offer.
The EV3 features a wealth of technology similar to that in their EV9, which recently won the "Car of the Year Award UK". Inside, Kia has used recycled and bio-based materials, reflecting their commitment to sustainability. The interior is sleek, modern, and highly comfortable. A 30” widescreen display with premium sound quality provides an immersive experience, complemented by a Kia AI assistant that simplifies mobility, travel, and vehicle usage. They’ve thoughtfully included a sliding-out table in the center for extra space when eating or driving. It's an excellent family car with a good range and ample room in both the boot and seating areas for the entire family.
Kia also will be offering a GT line for the EV3 with a sporty look and lower body trim for those looking for that step up.
As of yet there is no price for EV3 but is expected to be under the £30,000 mark, but we will find out closer to the release of the car. It will be fascinating to see how the EV3 handles and drives. It looks poised to be a strong competitor for the top small SUV on the market right now, the Volvo EX30.
